Experienced HVAC Install Technician

GAC Services is an award-winning HVAC and electrical company in Gaithersburg, MD and is currently looking for a Lead HVAC Install Technician who is reliable, can work in a team-based environment and help continue to push our company forward. Experience is required and licenses/certifications preferred.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Possess a valid drives license, has experience operating a motor vehicle, and is able to provide a clean driving record
  • Experience installing FAC, HPS, and Ductless HVAC systems.
  • Understand the sequence of operations of an HVAC system and the ability to troubleshoot potential start up issues.
  • Ability to calculate sub-cool, super-heat, cfms, static pressure and necessary data when starting up a HVAC system.
  • Knowledgeable about Montgomery County, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC code requirements.
  • Leadership and team building characteristics
  • Customer relation skills
  • Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and move with a sense of urgency

Customer Service Representative

GAC Services, an award-winning HVAC and electrical company in Gaithersburg, MD is offering an opportunity to become a member of our Customer Service Representative team. The newest member will be an equal part of a team of professionals who manage GAC’s complex and dynamic installation process which include (but not limited to):

  • Win the customer – be the person that lets the customer know we care about them.
  • Answer the phone in a professional manner.
  • Assist customers with questions and schedule necessary appointments.
  • Process invoices and input data into our computer systems.
  • Scan, fax and file paperwork as needed
  • Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets and detailed reports on a weekly / monthly basis.
  • Process credit card and check payments daily.
  • Make outbound calls to generate work during slower periods
  • Track and place orders for customers as needed
  • Manage the maintenance agreements program and ensure communications are be delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist officers with special projects and assignments as needed

Requirements:

  • Individual must be organized and able to follow procedures
  • Individual should be comfortable with using a computer to execute required tasks
  • Communication skills are needed to ensure proper flow of information
